What are those stickers on the Adriatic Bridge? The motif will touch your heart

Animal-loving Bari: a commitment to safeguarding the health of birds passing through the city
Just a few days ago, while driving across the splendid Adriatic Bridge, I noticed these silhouettes of birds stuck to the glass of the screen at the side of the road.
For a moment, I thought I'd never noticed them before, but then, thinking about it, it wasn't the first time I'd passed by...
And as always, the web, specifically the news from some local newspapers, dispelled any doubts; I learned that silhouettes of birds of prey were recently installed on the Adriatic Bridge , and while they appear to be purely decorative, they actually have a very specific purpose that will surprise you.
To put it simply, to save animals .
Yes, because unfortunately, until recently, those windows were real invisible dangers for birds ; in fact, many of them, unfortunately, crashed while crossing the bridge , even losing their lives.
Considering that Bari boasts a significant migratory passage with specimens (some rare) arriving from as far away as South Africa , one could not remain indifferent, and thanks to the alarm raised by some volunteers and the administration that promptly responded to the appeal, the Adriatic Bridge is now equipped with these deterrents to protect the birds from the invisible danger.
I am an animal lover, and now that I have discovered the reason for those stickers on the bridge, I can only congratulate all those people who worked and collaborated on this initiative.
We always defend animals; they are the beauty of our world.
