A new look for the Old City Walls of Bari: lights and colors on the waterfront

The walls of Bari Vecchia are changing: lights and colors will illuminate a glimpse of the ancient town

Bari is increasingly beautiful and illuminated; from now on, a beautiful and characteristic glimpse of Bari's old town will have a new look.

As many as 130 new LED projectors will illuminate the walls of old Bari, and they will do so through the colours of the Italian flag.

An initiative that adds value to the beautiful walls of Bari Vecchia and the fort of Sant'Antonio, and which also reserves surprises for the arrival of Pope Francis scheduled for Sunday 23 February.
