Capitolo and Torre a Mare: A Relaxing Sunday
Watch the emotional video!
June 28, 2020
A short story about a summer Sunday in Puglia, filled with sun, sea, friends, and wonderful places.
If there's one thing I love about living in a city like Bari , it's knowing that the holiday atmosphere can be felt from early June and lasts until the end of September.
Yes, because fundamentally living in Bari Puglia in general , means being lucky enough to be able to go to the seaside (and what a sea), disconnecting from work, our minds, our thoughts and everything else that distracts us from the beauty around us on a daily basis, and dedicating ourselves to the finer things in life: nature, hobbies, loved ones, entertainment, etc.
Sunday morning began with such a scorching heat that I planned, like every weekend , my day of relaxation .
So, in collaboration with our old friends, we organized a nice little group and headed to Capitolo , near Monopoli (a half-hour drive from Bari), opting for a public beach with clear, clean water .
After our day at the beach , we got back in the car, but the desire to enjoy a wonderful Sunday prevailed over everything else; and so, on the way back from Capitolo , we decided to make a pit stop for a delicious ice cream... where? In the charming Torre a Mare .
As for the rest, I'll let the photos do the talking.
See you next time!
